I’ve been hearing a lot about North Carolina the past year or so and had to check it out. I called up my good buddy Matt McKeon of Team Broke Off – a local sherpa to all the secret spots – and organized what would become one of the most action-packed skate trips I’ve ever been on. 

After knowing him for years and even hosting him in my home, I finally got to visit my buddy Lamin Cassama on his own home turf in Stockholm, the beautiful capital of Sweden... or as I call it: Stokeholm!

The KnK Longboard Camp in Slovenia has been held every summer for about six years now and when I was planning my European trip, everyone was telling me I had to go. It's one of the most talked about freerides in Europe.  Six days of free-riding down the "Bear’s Guts" track in Osilnika, Slovenia, capped off by the Red Bull "No Paws Down" race (where you're not allowed actually touch the ground).  Unfortunately, I did and was disqualifed.

For me, this event started AND ended badly.  I didn't arrive at the campground until 2:30 in the morning... and it was raining. If you've ever been camping, you know it's no fun to pitch a tent in the rain.
