Meet Your Longboard Coach
Brandon DesJarlais
Brandon is a pro longboard skateboarder that loves all styles of riding. He has made the podium in popular contests like the Red Bull No Paws Down World Championships, Transylvania Downhill, and the About You Pangea festival in Germany.
Brandon lives in Venice Beach and regularly teaches lessons throughout Southern California. He’s taught all disciplines including longboard dancing and freestyle tricks with riders aged 5 - 65.
In 2022, Brandon created a website called Amp Skate that makes learning longboard tricks easy and intuitive. He’s also the founder and Executive Director of Beyond the Board, a Los Angeles based 501(c)3 non-profit on a mission to use skateboarding to empower people with confidence and to build community that goes “beyond the board”.
